Suspension: TKU Basketball-Reefhuis

TKU Men’s Basketball player Wyatt Reefhuis (#21) was ejected from a February 7, 2020 game for receiving two technical fouls.

Mr. Reefhuis made inappropriate, profane comments to the referee following his first technical foul. He also used profanity toward the referee on one other occasion. The details are outlined in the attached game report.

The ejection carries an automatic suspension. However, I have elected to impose supplemental discipline in relation to Mr. Reefhuis’s verbal outbursts. This behaviour cannot be condoned within the Conference as it runs afoul of the Guidelines for Student‐Athletes contained in the Code of Ethics within the ACAC Operating Code, which requires student‐athletes to treat officials with respect at all times.

Based on the above, Mr. Reefhuis is hereby suspended for a total of two (2) games, to be served as follows:

February 8, 2020 vs. UAA (served) 
February 21, 2020 vs. GPRC
